I think after a month it's a bit tacky to try to go back to the seller. Sounds JUST like my Hamer Echotone! It wasn't a second either. Question.do ibanez stamp their 2nds? why do manufacturers sell 2nds instead of destroying them.and last.should i ask the seller to pay for the repairs or what.i dont know how to start my dialogue with him.Any input would be greatly appreciated! Ok!i think my problem fits in here boys and girls.Tell me what i should do.I bought an artcore for my friend off ebay.It was just used for a studio recording. It arrives beautiful but my friend doesnt get round to play it for a month and thats when he notices something wrong with the neck,Its a small rise in the fretboard around the 12 to 14 fret.We take it to a few luthiers and they all say it looks like a factory 2nd and they cant believe someone played this for a recording session let alone for fun.The board was not properly pressed to the neck they say and this will cost about 60 to 70 canadian for the repair and everything should be alright.
